Holiday Day 3

Last night we went out to dinner and I saw the perfect chance to wear this lovely dress I was given as an end-of-year present from one of the parents at school. I also managed to have awesome hair and awesome make up. I was feeling fantastic and we had a wonderful meal :)

We're sadly left Polignano yesterday and we're now in Ostuni in a cute little apartment on a tiny little street with a cool, but a little scary roof terrace (read roof!). More pics soon xx

Holiday Day 2

I got a camera for christmas last year and managed to break it within 3 months :( So I decided to buy a new one for my holiday. I was willing to spend between £80-£100 but for a mere £20 over budget (i.e. £120) I got a shockproof, dustproof, freezeproof and WATERPROOF camera!

I was so exicted to try it out yesterday... although it made treading water a little difficult ;)

The sea was lovely and warm and in the bf's words 'pleasant'. Wow, we're getting old!

Holiday!

Yesterday was our first day on holiday... our real holiday. We arrived in Polignano a Mare at around 2.30, checked into our hotel and then...

We wandered through the old part of town which is beautiful.

Stood at a few vantage points to take in the view.

Stared in awe at the beautiful sea.

Had a little break from the heat with some TV

Then got dressed up and went out for dinner and drinks.

I definitely do not regret buying my new camera. It's awesome, as you'll see more evidence of tomorrow ;) xx

What shall we do with the drunken sailor?

I have had a lingering chesty cold for some time now, I believe it's been over two weeks now and the cough seems to be getting better, and yet worse at the same time.

It has the ring of something that wants to become a chest infection, so I've decided to take some precautionary antibiotics. This means I can't drink a dingle drop of booze and so I'm envious of the drunked sailor, even if he does have to stay in the long boat until he's sober.

I am taking this measure because I don't want to be ill for my weekend which will be spend in VENICE! Plus coughing so hard that you vomit isn't fun. And it's annoying. And painful. So yeah, if it doesn't shift I may actually have to pay to see a doctor. No fair :(

So my dears, wish me luck in shifting this darn cough so I can fully enjoy my long weekend in Venice.

Oh and wish my beloved bf a Happy Birthday this time next week. He's hitting the big 25 and isn't happy about it, bless him ;)
